Today, I am so excited to share with you how to makeover your front door with this easy and classic boxowood wreath. I can't believe it's been so long since our last post! I have been itching to get a new post up, but life hasn't slowed down one bit! One of the big changes that we made is where we live! Yep that's right, we have moved from Atchison Kansas to Kansas city Missouri! I am going to be taking a video of the befores. We shall see how this goes, since it's going to be my first
In the mean time, I wanted to share with you the first project of this year! It was a no brainer. We needed a new wreath. It was a fresh change that was much needed. I was given this wreath from a beautiful friend from my Bridal shower (that was almost four years ago..so yeah..this little wreath had seen better
days years). At one point, it had snapped in half, that I glued and stapled back together. Roses have been falling out, and every time one did, I always tried to stick it back in the hole. I know right, so classy. Plus it wasn't the right height with the door. So I figured it was best to say goodbye...
I had envisioned something with a little more color, like boxwood, as my next investment for our front door wreath. I found exactly what I was looking for at Target (you can find the wreath, here). I fell in love with this striped ribbon that I had purchased at Nell Hills.
The ribbon and wreath are a match made in Heaven! Although I do have a confession to make, I have an
unhealthy obsession with this color combo.
After swamping out the old and in with the new (which took me about five minutes) this is what our front door looks like now...
This project took about five minutes. I love how timeless this is. And it's perfect for any season.
Ohh you guys, I am so excited to be back!
